Sidewalk snow clearing

Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the property owner to clear snow and ice from the sidewalks infront of their property within 24 hours of a snow/ice event.  For those with brick sidewalks, please only use a non-salt based product such as geo-melt.  Salt will leave a residue and cause damage to the bricks.  When removing snow from driveways or sidewalks, please do not throw the snow into the roadway.  Doing so is illegal and you may be ticketed.  The Borough thanks you for your cooperation and wishes you a very safe and happy winter season!
