About Chester Borough Recreation Commission
Chester Borough Recreation is comprised of seven members who are citizens in residence in the borough and one recreation director. The Commission is responsible for formulating plans for the development and improvement of our public park and playground lands including maintenance, care and improvements as well as formulating rules and regulations and events. If you are a borough resident who is looking to get involved in your community please consider volunteering for our commission. FIELD HOUSE RENTALS
The Field House at Grove Street Park is available for rent for both meetings or events. Meetings can be held Monday through Thursdays and events can be held any time during the week. Click here for rental application and rules and regulations of use.
Registration for Spring Sports Programs Now Open
(opens Feb 1st and closes April 1st)
Chester Borough announces it’s spring sports program for Youth. Featured programs are tennis, soccer squirts, sports squirts and t ball squirts are all offered. Instruction is provided through US Sports Institute, the #1 Sports Provider in the US!
US Sports Institute offers boys and girls aged 3-14 of all ability levels, the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports, check out the following link for more info and to register.

Annual Family Skate Night
Our 8th annual family skate night will be hosted at Chubb Pond this year! Stay tuned for details on this fun way to spend time with your family and neighbors. Event will take place in February, more info to be announced at a later date.

FIFTY PLUS CLUB
The Fifty Plus Club is open to those 50 years of age and older living in Chester Township, Chester Boro and Washington Township. Meetings are held at 11 am on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month January through November at the Community Presbyterian Church on East Main Street in Chester. Upcoming trip schedule to be announced.

RUNNING CLUB
trail is flat and shaded. No matter what your running pace or distance objectives, everyone is welcome. The first step is to sign up with the Recreation Department and get on the email distribution (Email recreation@chestertownship.org)
After we have established an initial group we will email everyone a date for our first run!
