New Trash Contractor

Please be advised that we will be changing solid waste haulers beginning January 1, 2012. Our new solid waste contract has been awarded to Blue Diamond Disposal. The trash collection day for the Borough will remain on Wednesdays. Our recycling collection by the Morris County MUA will also continue on Wednesdays. Please note that we will continue to use a sticker program. New stickers should be available in the Tax Collector’s office soon. Please call Ana at extension 2121 for more information. All other aspects of the contract will stay the same. Stickers will be available in 15 and 30 lbs and will remain $6.00 and $12.00 respectively. Stickers will also be available at the UPS store on West Main Street. As in the past, the hauler has requested that you use trash cans that are no larger than 32 gallons in size.
If you have any leftover Waste Management trash stickers, you must contact Waste Management directly for reimbursement. The Borough will not reimburse for unused Waste Management stickers.
