Snow & Ice Removal - Important Ordinance Reminder!

As per the Chester Borough Ordinance Section 205-27- Removal of snow & ice from all sidewalks abutting any public street or road within the borough shall be removed within 24 hours after any snowfall or accumulation of ice occurs. In the event that it be so frozen, the sidewalks are to be thoroughly covered with sand or ice melting materials.

Failure to comply will result in the issuance of summons requiring an appearance in municipal court and a potential fine of $1,000.
